We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join one of our manufacturing client's team to support their financial operations. This is a contract to hire position and onsite Monday-Friday, near Vernon, CA.
What You'll Do
- Assist with monthly financial statements and close process
- Maintain accurate general ledger and account reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets across multiple entities
- Prepare sales/use tax filings and required regulatory reports
- Produce weekly and monthly sales, labor, and production reports
- Support audits, bank reviews, and special projects
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (Sage 100 a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team player who collaborates well across departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing or similar industry environment
